We are among the 10 refuges that have chosen to join the “Let’s Green” project. We work every day, year-round, to reduce and eliminate plastic use. From practicing waste separation to eliminating single-use plastics, utilizing an eco-compactor, and promoting hydroelectric energy, we are constantly committed to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

A conscious choice since 2007

Our refuge is entirely heated by a wood boiler, representing a conscious environmental responsibility decision made during the 2007 renovation. Thanks to this choice, we actively contribute to reducing our environmental impact by using a renewable and sustainable energy source to keep our environment warm and welcoming, while also respecting the beauty and integrity of our mountain habitat.

In line with our green philosophy, we have installed a hydroelectric power station. This choice allows us to harness the power of water to generate clean energy, reducing our environmental impact while respecting the beautiful natural landscape that surrounds us.
